Enjoy Local Cuisine with an Authentic Shepherd in the Wild Cretan Nature with Live Music

Located on an extraordinary landscape of unique wild beauty, where a Minoan settlement was once situated, lies the Shepherd’s working farm. We will be visiting a paddock where you will have the chance to milk the goat with the shepherd and participate in traditional cheese making. Have you ever tried really fresh cheese before? Well, you will enjoy it along with the shepherd’s homemade raki.

Right after, we’ll introduce you to Cretan traditional music and the local musical instruments while you enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun turning red in the sky as it goes down.

Before you know it, it’s time for dinner -and we have selected a traditional menu just for you.  Full of superb Cretan tastes and a selection of award-winning local wines, your palate will be pleased.  Take your time, savor the tastes, sip the wine, and let the music escort you into an enchanted environment under the stars, in an altitude of 950m above sea level, with a stunning view!

Extra: There’s an opportunity prior to the tour, for a one-hour horseback ride through the olive groves and up into the hills for a captivating view of the mountains.
