Panorama Heraklion Hiking Tour

Ready to go outside of the city and see the natural beauty Crete has to offer?  You will be surprised to see what is right outside the city limits!  We begin with a walk down a beautiful canyon lined with rocky cliffs and parallel to a rambling river.  This inspiring hike will make you feel a million miles away from the bustling city.  Our next destination requires a headlamp and an adventurous spirit as we explore a nearby cave.  As you make your way deeper within, you will soon come upon the impressive stalactites and stalagmites hidden inside the four rooms.  Later on, we will visit an underwater spring and a nearby wetland where your ears will be filled with beautiful melodies from the diverse bird populations.  Our last stop is a cozy family-owned tavern for some light snacks and some great traditional ambiance.
